Listen before you act

Begin by understanding the passage. Application should grow from what the text actually teaches, rather than an idea we bring to it.

Ask what this passage reveals about God, what it exposes in your own life and how it calls you to respond. Be specific enough to act.

At the end of the week, revisit your notes. What changed? Where did you need help? Give thanks, ask for grace and keep growing.
